How to choose automatic water softener

How to Choose a Water Softener? 1. First, you need to specify the system that requires softened water: heating, cooling and hydration, process water, steam boiler, steel smelting industry, or chemical pharmaceutical industry? Understanding the specific application will help determine the type of softener required. 2. Consider the system's water usage time—how long it runs per day, hourly water consumption, average vs. peak demand. If continuous water supply is needed, opt for a Twin Set or Double Control Twin Series. Otherwise, a single valve single tank model may be sufficient. 3. Determine the total water hardness. Whether it’s municipal tap water, groundwater, or surface water, knowing the raw water’s hardness is essential. High hardness can reduce the cycle water production and increase the frequency of regeneration, shortening the resin’s lifespan. To avoid this, you may need to increase the resin volume by choosing a larger model. 4. Define the required soft water flow rate (in tons per hour). This depends on the equipment’s requirements and helps in selecting the appropriate standard water softener. 5. Set the periodic water production. Once the model is chosen, the theoretical working cycle water production can be calculated based on the raw water hardness and the resin's exchange capacity. Softener Selection Guide 1. Controller: Use high-quality automatic control valves such as US FLECK, AUTOTROL, or AQUAMATIC. These ensure efficient and reliable operation. 2. Resin Tanks: Available in various types, including domestic RFP tanks, stainless steel tanks, and metal-lined plastic tanks with PE liners. Imported RFP tanks are also an option for specialized applications. 3. Operation Control Types: - L-Type (Flow-based): Automatically regenerates when the set water volume is reached. Ideal for all water supply systems. - S-Type (Time-based): Regenerates based on a pre-set schedule. Best suited for systems with stable water demand, with a typical regeneration cycle of 24 hours. 4. Equipment Combinations: - Single control single bed: Stops water supply during regeneration or allows bypass of hard water. - Single control double bed: Alternates between two beds for continuous soft water supply. - Twin dual control: Alternates water supply and regeneration cycles. - Twin dual control (simultaneous): Provides continuous supply while alternating regeneration. - Multi-control multi-bed: Uses more than three resin tanks in parallel, ideal for large-scale water systems. Note: The selection should be based on the raw water’s hardness. For high hardness water (>8 mmol/L), it's recommended to upgrade the system. For water with hardness above 12 mmol/L, secondary softening or alternative methods may be necessary. Freeze Dried Fruit Powder

Freeze-dried fruit powder is to freeze the raw material into a solid state first, and then dry it through vacuum, so that the water gradually sublimates out of the ice, and finally get the food raw material in the powder state. Freeze drying technology can completely preserve the taste and nutritional content of food without adding any other additives.
