To prepare this delicious sauce, you'll need the following ingredients: - 10 kg of ripe red peppers - 1 kg of walnuts - 1 kg of peanuts - 0.5 kg of fresh ginger - 0.5 kg of sesame seeds - 0.5 kg of salt - 2 kg of vegetable oil - 2 kg of soybeans The process begins by washing the red peppers, removing the stems, and drying them thoroughly. Once dry, they are ground into a smooth paste using a food processor or mortar and pestle. Meanwhile, the walnuts and peanuts are fried until golden and then chopped into small pieces. The sesame seeds are also lightly roasted, while the soybeans are cooked until soft. The ginger is finely grated or minced. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chili paste and stir continuously to avoid burning. Then, mix in the fried walnuts, peanuts, sesame, cooked soybeans, and ginger. Cook everything together until the mixture turns a deep red and becomes fragrant. Once ready, transfer the sauce into a clean, sterilized porcelain jar and seal it tightly. It can be enjoyed the next day and will keep for more than six months if stored properly. This spicy sauce is commonly sold in bulk in glass jars or plastic containers, but it’s also popular in canned bottles for easier distribution and marketing.
