Cultivation Techniques of Pleurotus eryngii

During the growing season, *Pleurotus eryngii*, also known as king oyster mushroom, is classified as a medium to low-temperature species. The optimal temperature for mycelium growth is between 23–25°C, while the ideal temperature for fruiting bodies is 12–18°C. The formation of primordia (the initial stage of mushrooms) does not occur below 8°C, and high temperatures above 20°C can lead to malformed or deformed mushrooms. Based on these temperature requirements, the best time for inoculation is usually from September to October, with a total cultivation period of approximately 45–50 days. For raw material preparation, testing has shown that an ideal substrate formula includes: 35% cottonseed hulls, 13% corn cobs, 30% wood chips, 13% wheat bran, 7% corn flour, 1% lime, and 1% gypsum. However, it's important to note that *Pleurotus eryngii* prefers a slightly acidic environment, so lime should be used sparingly and carefully. This mushroom is well-suited for bag cultivation using 17 cm x 34 cm x 0.04 mm acrylic or vinyl bags. These can be filled either manually or mechanically, and after sealing both ends, the bags are sterilized under atmospheric pressure for 18–20 hours. Once cooled to 25°C, the bags are inoculated in a sterile environment with temperature-controlled spawn. The first 5–7 days require maintaining a temperature of 23–25°C. After about 20 days, the temperature is gradually lowered to 22–23°C, and humidity should be kept below 70%. Daily ventilation for 1–2 times helps maintain good air quality. After 40–45 days, the mycelium becomes thick and white, indicating physiological maturity. At this point, the bags are moved into a mushroom house for fruiting management. Fruiting management requires careful timing when opening the bags. If opened too early, the base may not form properly; if too late, the mushrooms may develop abnormally. The best time to open the bags is when small buds begin to appear. The mushroom house should maintain an ideal temperature of 13–15°C, and humidity should be kept between 85–95%. It’s important not to spray water directly onto the mushroom caps to avoid damage. Also, high CO₂ levels can cause deformities, so proper ventilation is essential. Harvesting typically occurs around 15 days after the first flush, when the caps are still flat and spores have not yet been released. The mushrooms can be harvested after about 45 days of cultivation. *Pleurotus eryngii* can be sold fresh, dried, or canned, offering various processing options. Sun Qi

Liraglutide Pen Injector

Liraglutide is a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes and obesity. It is administered through a pen injector, which is a device that delivers a pre-measured dose of the medication. The pen injector is designed to be easy to use and can be used by patients at home. It is important to follow the instructions for use and to dispose of the pen injector properly after use. The pen injector should be stored at room temperature and kept out of reach of children. Patients should talk to their healthcare provider about any questions or concerns they have about using the Liraglutide pen injector
