Adjusting tree nutrition

After the fruit has entered the peak of swelling, sweet orange is also very particular about fertilization. At this time, it is necessary to adjust the nutrition of the tree, reduce the application of phosphorus fertilizer, increase the application of potassium fertilizer, nitrogen fertilizer, and farmyard fertilizer to reduce fruit cracking.

Timely control of thinning fruit

When a large number of summer and autumn shoots are extracted, the long shoots are cut to the appropriate length and the excess shoots of the summer and autumn shoots are erased in time to about 2 cm, which effectively controls cracking.

At the same time, the fruit should be shredded in a timely manner: generally small fruit, malformed fruit, and pests and fruits will be eliminated in July to ensure normal fruit growth. For cracked fruits, they should be kept on the tree, not removed, and water vaporized through the cracks to maintain the relative balance between soil moisture and tree moisture, and to avoid new cracking.

Do a good job of pest control

If there is a crack in the sweet orange, at this time, if there are pests and diseases such as red spider, rust spider and canker, the loss will increase. Therefore, in order to reduce the invasion of bacteria from the fruit, 150 grams of urea, 100 grams of potassium chloride, 100 grams of vinegar, and 100 grams of lime 100 grams of water can be sprayed on fruits in the early morning or early evening.

In addition, spraying ninety-two can prevent cracking fruit. However, in the high-temperature period, attention should be paid to the use of pesticides, plant growth regulators, and foliar fertilizers to prevent fruit cracks caused by excessively high concentrations.
