Autumn management of planting pearl guava

In recent years, pearl guava has been fully promoted in the Chaoshan region, and the current planting area has reached 100,000 mu. Guava has a fast-growing, high-yield, many-time flowering, many times over the years. The product is delicious and nutritious, the market is hot, and the price is high. It is one of the preferred varieties of current fruit variety structure adjustment in Chaoshan. Autumn and winter seasons are characterized by dry and dry weather, impermanent heat and cold, and frequent frosts. These are very unfavorable to the growth of guava. Appropriate methods must be used to create an environment conducive to the normal growth of guava. After years of practice, the author will now introduce my test results as follows:
1, appropriate inhibition of growth, drug promotion flower: guava in the summer high temperature, high humidity environment rapid growth, most of the lush foliage, shoots prosperous. After entering August, the guava flowering nodes are all significantly higher. According to the guava result, there are many places in the second, fourth, and eighth sections, but there are also a few flowers in the eighth to the twelfth sections. In addition, there are many branches, both leggy branches, and the fruit setting rate is not high. In late August, the use of B9 (bigger) 1000-2000 ppm after the spray rose. At the same time, it can also be combined with topping, and in the fifth or ninth section, it will often cause the fourth or eighth section to form a flower. After taking measures, it is often 1-2 times more than the amount of flowers that are not treated. These flowers are easy to establish. However, when using drugs to promote flowers, the use of drugs should be different due to different seasonal climates. After entering November, the weather turned cold, and switching to Chrysogen to promote flower protection can effectively prevent florets from being chilled. Borax should be used in combination with chlormequat. Chlorothorin is easy to increase the bitterness of young fruit, but with borax it can reduce bitterness and increase sweetness.
2, pest control: Guava pests in autumn and winter is mainly anthrax, can be 70% thiophanate-methyl WP or 75% chlorothalonil 800 times for control. The main pests are aphids, scale insects and venom moths. They can be treated with 20% fenvalerate EC 1000 times or 24% DuPont Wanling agent 1000 times. If there is a kind of pink locust damage young shoots. The young shoots will turn black and shrink, they will be difficult to grow, and these pests will overlap for generations. The use of green blessing, fast spirit and other insecticidal effect is obvious. In the fall and winter droughts, root nematodes are prone to occur, which seriously cause guava orchards to become absurd. The old leaves are mainly turned purple, gradually turning red, and finally withered, from the bottom up, bare poles. If the control is not timely, the surrounding plants have similar symptoms. Therefore, in the fall and winter season, when a sporadic disease strain is discovered, it must be used promptly. You can use groundworms to mix fine sand, and when spreading, you should plan to mix the top soil with tree tops, which can effectively control the spread.
3, the rational use of foliar fertilizer: autumn and winter seasons using foliar fertilizer is targeted, the effect is good. Mixing 1% superphosphate with 3% urea can increase production. Mixing 0.5% potassium dihydrogen phosphate with 0.2% borax can promote fruit and increase sweetness. Due to the lack of illumination in autumn and winter, and decreased photosynthetic rate plus many fruit-bearing fruits, guava's flavor tends to be lighter. Farmers should be added fertilizer and foliar fertilizer should be used at the same time.
