A new late-ripening peach variety--Yimeng cream red
"Yimeng Shuanghong" is a new peach variety that we used as a parental hybrid of the peach variety "Hanxiangmi" as the female parent, the "Peach King Jiujiu" and the "Dongxuemi" mixed pollen. The fruit is nearly round, the average fruit weight is 375.2 grams, the maximum fruit weight is 550 grams, and the fruit is bright red; the sticky nucleus is white, the flesh is white, the flesh is fine, brittle, sweet, and of good quality; the soluble solids content is 14.4%, and the soluble sugar content is 10.6% The titratable acid content was 0.22% and the vitamin C content was 42.5 mg/kg. In Pingyi County, Shandong Province, the fruit matured from late October to early November, and the fruit development period was about 200 days. It was a very late-maturing variety. The variety was approved by Shandong Crop Variety Approval Committee in September 2010.
