Because the eggs are flourishing at this time, the metabolism is strengthened, and not only the formation of eggs requires water, but also the feed intake of chickens is large and the water consumption is also large. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the water supply during the peak period of egg production, otherwise, it will directly affect the egg production and health. Especially in the 8 hours, 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock of the day, there should be no shortage of water, because the chicken's drinking time is mostly in the light time.
Around 8 am, chickens begin to receive light (daylight or light). Around 12:00 noon, it is the peak period of egg production of chickens. After the hens produce eggs, the body consumes more water and feels very thirsty to drink water. Around 6 pm, the lighting time is coming to an end. At night, it is ready to begin a rest. The chicken needs to drink enough water to make it ready for use in the evening. In the production of chickens, I do not know whether you have observed them carefully or not. The peak of drinking water occurs three times a day. If laying hens do not drink or drink enough water during these three periods, they will affect their egg production and health.
Cold winter weather, low temperatures, best to give chickens warm water, warm water chickens love to drink, but also can reduce the loss of body heat, enhance cold resistance, the health of chickens and egg production are favorable.
