China's laser medical device market exceeds RMB 2.9 billion in 2010

Business News Agency April 14th Since the rapid spread of laser medical technology in China and the increase in government investment in medical infrastructure in recent years, China's laser medical device market has grown rapidly in 2010. According to the latest market research data from Siontes, the market size of laser medical devices in China was 2.91 billion yuan in 2010, an increase of 21.3% year-on-year.

Figure 1 The scale and growth of China's laser medical device market from 2006 to 2010 In terms of instrument types, laser cosmetic equipment and laser diagnostic analysis equipment accounted for a market share that was slightly higher than that of 2009, except that laser surgical treatment equipment accounted for nearly 60% of the market share. The increase was 23.2% and 9.6% respectively.
