Supplementation or reconstitution of rabbits is a measure to ensure fertility and increase litter size. If semen is found out after mating, or the female rabbit immediately urinates, it should be supplemented immediately to avoid loss due to missed allocation.
The female rabbit is a stimulating ovulatory animal and can ovulate only after being stimulated by male rabbits. Therefore, it should be reconstituted 1 to 7 hours after the first breeding to increase the conception rate. If it is purebred breeding, the same male rabbit must be used when supplementing or reconstituting to avoid confusing the pedigree; if it is to produce commercial rabbits, it can be used to mate with another rabbit during compounding or compounding, but care must be taken to avoid close relatives.
